The Austin Family

I finally have a mission, I promise I'll complete. I don't need excuses when I am your hands and feet. ==================== Audio Adrenaline, Underdog, "Hands and Feet", 1999

At the Beach

There was no way we could go to Florida and not play in the waves. We went to the beach Friday before the concert then again Saturday morning. We are back home and packing for the Conference.

Ben (AudioA Drummer) had a good suggestion, which we are following. We pulled out finding Nemo and turned on the Spanish subtitles. We are looking through our DVD's to find those that are dubbed in Spanish. What a great idea. Thanks Ben!

Preparing for Conference Week

We are preparing for Candidate Conference...Austin Style.

It does no’t take knowing much about us to know that this means we went to an Audio Adrenaline concert. Sitting around the house pondering what to expect next week was no’t cutting the mustard. Besides AudioA was playing just two states away in Pensacola, FL. They had TobyMac, Kutless, and Hawk Nelson with them. What a wonderful two days. I had many hours to pray and focus on my calling.

It was so sad knowing that we may not see them again before leaving the country. It’s been one wild ride. For all of you missionaries in Peru, I made Mark (lead singer) promise to come to Peru! Who knows...it may not be as a singer, but I know that he’ will come down one day. I promised him a trip to Machu Picchu and he promised me that he’ would eat a Cuy dinner with me! That’ is a guinea pig for all the Americans reading this. Susie and I were able to share “"Our Story"” with Ben (drummer). It’s so weird that they know us, much less care about our missionary endeavors. What a blessing. It was a very special night.
