The Austin Family

I finally have a mission, I promise I'll complete. I don't need excuses when I am your hands and feet. ==================== Audio Adrenaline, Underdog, "Hands and Feet", 1999

Please be in prayer

Please keep Arnold and the team that he is with on a vision trip in your prayers. Some of their plans have changed and they are having to be flexible. Also, please pray for the health of the team and also pray for them as they try to seek the Lord's will for their churches involvement here in the mountains of Peru.

Worth Repeating

In case you don't check out the GradysOnMission Blog:

Do you have any idea who the youngest member of our IMB family is? It's Jacob Grady. Born yesterday evening to John and Sonia Grady, right here in Lima Peru. He has a big brother named Samuel that was born in Costa Rica while his parents, as well as our family were still in language school.

As expected, Aunt Susie had to be the first to see Samuel in Costa Rica and had to be first to see Jacob in Peru. If you want to speak your blessings of prayer and congratulations to this family, check out their blog at:

Beatitudes

It's week two of my Beatitudes study. The class seems to be really excited to do it.

Here's a picture from a friend of mine, taken in the Twin Cities during the RNC.

I thought it was great!

Keep Praying for Haiti

The Hands and Feet Project has taken a beating from both Gustav and Hanna and more rain is expected. All the orphans are safe. Watch this video to see the full effect that Gustav had on the project.

If you're happy and you know it....

We are studying the Beatitudes for the next two months in my English class. I chose this topic because some Christians are confused between living the good life and living the abundant life. "Blessed are" doesn't always mean delighted, cheery, or elated, but more satisfied, gratified and content. We are memorizing this song from Hero the Rock Opera in our class:

A M A Z I N G !!!!

Arnold and I have found an on-line Scrabble game on Facebook that we play each other on. It has been pretty fun and relaxing. Yesterday, I was SHOCKED and AMAZED that when I played my turn and my new letters popped up, that my name was right there in the middle of them! "ESUSIEA" I was so shocked that I even let Arnold see my letters (which he was instructed that he couldn't cheat if I let him look!) Here's a couple of pictures of my screen! It was AMAZING. What are the odds of that?
